FEI Eventing European Championship – new start time for cross country

Following the weather conditions and rainfall during the night, the start of competition has been delayed by 2 hours in order to prepare the course and provide consistent conditions for all riders and horses. The start of competition is now scheduled for 14:00.
In addition, five obstacles, numbers 12-16 (6 jumping efforts) have also been removed from the course.
USTICA, the Norman association that created the Grand Complet – one of the most important competitions of Eventing in Europe, offers in 2023 to the riders, to the public but also to the partners and to the exhibitors an event at the height of the excellence that characterizes the French equitation: the European Eventing Championship.
With one year to go before the Olympic Games in Paris, this European Championship has an air of rehearsal about it, especially as the historic ringmaster and creator of the Grand Complet 25 years ago, Pierre LE GOUPIL, will also be designing the route of the 2024 Olympic Games.
It is both a pride and a reward for all our volunteers, our institutional and private partners to participate with us in this fabulous human and sporting adventure, all in the heart of a historic, emblematic site, this famous Norman Versailles that is the Haras National du Pin.
